Simpler Times

We have the technology to think faster, work faster, travel faster, cook faster and live longer, all so that we can spend more time doing less. We have the capability to do all these things and yet is there anything we now do that our parents didn't have time to do because of their antiquated ways? We should have more to be happy about than ever before, but sadness is still here and comes more quickly. It seems the faster and easier life becomes, the more the simpler things suffer.  Simple is a good thing. Simple is quietly holding hands, daily family meals at the same table, sitting and talking together for no particular reason or calling a brother, sister, mother, father or friend and figure out what you're going to say after they answer the phone. Slow down, take a deep breath and enjoy a simpler time. Family and Friends Always!
