The Holidays Are A Coming

 With the holidays creeping closer, memories of past holiday seasons start to push their way up the memory list, I recall several years ago my youngest daughter Shaye picked up Cole, my grandson, from kindergarten a few days before the Thanksgiving Holiday and he asked her, "Are Dad and I going out hunting and kill a turkey for Thanksgiving?" She told him no, that they were coming to our house for Thanksgiving. Cole paused and then said, "So, Dadaw (Amber) has already killed a turkey?"
