Just one memory of the old house

Well, we made a quick trip back to Burleson today to the Dentist so Amber could get fitted for her new teeth. Actually it was just one tooth, but where one tooth goes the rest shall surely follow, it's just a matter of time. While we were in Burleson, we decided to drive by the old house and see what the new owners have done in the last year....We shouldn't have driven by!! Boats, trailers, RVs, cars and various a sundry other crap was now occupying what used to be a plush green lawn dotted with great looking flower beds. I knew we should have kept the house, or at least made them sign something saying they wouldn't screw things up. One thing about it, our old house now makes all the neighbor's houses look a lot better. I know I should get over it, it's just a house, just a piece of property...but it was our home, we had invested our heart and souls in that corner lot...and we were so proud!
