Just Thinkin' (Again)

Our parents and our grandparents left us with the wisdom of their words and the influences of their actions just as their parents and grandparents did for them. Though still true and  still with useful, good meaning, it may be necessary to modify the verbiage with appropriate  considerations given to the time and the situation, rather than using the outdated and sometimes inappropriate words and actions of those good folks who never saw what we have seen or heard what we have heard. Georg Chrisoph Lichenberg said, "Even truth needs to be clad in new garments if it is to appeal to the new age."
