Lake Merritt on The Rise

We have received about 3 1/2 inches of rain at Lake Merritt this weekend. The lake level is about one foot below the top of the spillway with runoff still coming in from all the creeks. Lake may be full by tomorrow! This time last year the Lake was about 12 to 14 feet low! Boy am I going to have some fishing stories for you between now and Spring!
