Forgiven

I'm a proud man. Not to say that I have been proud of all that I have done along the way, but proud that when I did fall short, I knew it and suffered because of it, because that's what I was taught. Yes, I am a proud man but I still feel regret for some less than prideful acts even though forgiven. For it's not the fact that I was forgiven, it's the fact that I had to be forgiven.
