Words For The Day - 1/10/15

Back in the old days, when young is what I thought I would 

always be, there were so many things I dreamed of doing. 

All wonderful, exciting things, things a person of my age and 

means would normally never experience. You see there 

were parents, teachers, preachers and guilt that stood 

between want and having. Now hovering nearer old than I 

thought I would ever be and years past when the words of 

parents, teachers and preachers were said, there are still 

wondrous dreams and exciting things I have yet to do. Alas, 

there is still guilt and enough memory to steer my path 

toward those things that should be and away from those 

things meant to remain dreams.
