Memories Of Home

Some memories are better enjoyed from a distance. Heart warming memories pull you back home and you expect it to be the same, but disappointment fades the mood. Home is a lonely place to visit after you have been elsewhere for forty or more years, especially when most of those who helped forge those memories are gone. It is someone else's memory now. However, if home is where the heart is, I'm fine.
