A Life That Was Faster

I can remember a life that was faster and maybe a little more confusing. I ran away from some when I should have stayed, but my heart was weak and my head was hard and then there was the grass on the other side of the fence. But somehow I'm here, probably no smarter, but less anxious to prove it. Life seems more rewarding but then what could be more rewarding than life itself.
