I Lost My Way

Somewhere in the transition from boy to man I lost my way. All the familiar landmarks and faces were gone. Pitiful, pitiful me! Lost and sympathy from no one, but me. Now well over fifty years later, I again share my life with those fellow souls of my youth. I thrive on the energy of our common memories. I bask in the pride and happiness of our yesterdays. There is a little sadness, or maybe regret, you see my friends never left me, it was I that walked away, they had been there all along.
