Grandchildren and our distance apart

Makes for a strong, binding love

And a sometimes aching heart.

However, nobody but God above

Can help numb Poppy's pain

When he learns of his  grandson's illness

And wants to go to him, but he must refrain

and hope for now, his concerns will prove to be needless.....
