The Heart Of Texas

With time, or lack of it, no longer dictating our schedule, Amber and I enjoy random short trips just to see things we may have driven by many times and render respect and reverence to those places and the people who made them so. Today we drove to Brady, Texas with a stop at the geographical Heart of Texas. Time and uncaring thugs had scarred the landmark since my last visit but they had little effect on the majesty bestowed on The Great State Of Texas!

Vandals took the brass plaque commemorating this as the Heart of Texas. I'm sure it looks good hanging with all their other well deserved trophies.
