Nothing Much To Do

Well, Amber and I got up this morning with nothing in particular to do. So, we got in the car and drove to Alvarado, then on to Keene, then through Cleburne and on to Glen Rose (Amber loves the old shops there). We decided to drive on to Hico and then to Hamilton just to look around. Then I got hungry for fresh pecans so we drove to Goldthwaite and bought 10 pounds of pecans, a tin of peanut brittle and a tin of pecan brittle. Of course we did drive by Lake Merritt and then on to Mullin and visited with Mom and Pop for a while and did a little housekeeping at the cemetery. It was then time for lunch so we drove to Zephyr and had a chicken fried steak at the Diamond R Cafe. No longer hungry we drove on to Blanket, Comanche, Proctor, Dublin and Stephenville doing a little shopping along the way. We decided we ought to get back home and check on our baby, Cae. We arrived back home at 4:45 PM and found our commercial refrigerator had quit cooling. I was able to get hold of a repair man just as he was quitting for the day but he agreed to come "see what he could do." I think we'll just sit down and watch a movie tonight.
