Amber's mother would be ninety-one years old today. It's been nine and a half years since she last shared her life with the family she loved, the family that loved her. Her work was never done as she pampered and fretted over her daughters, her grand and great grand children and yes even over her stubborn son in laws. She was always busy, always caring and always concerned and never still for more than a few seconds at a time. I hear her in Amber's voice, I see her in our house and in the houses of her family....You did good Nanny, sit down for a while and rest, after all, it is your birthday.
