Happy Birthday Shady Lady

Forty-two years ago Amber and I left Cleburne, Texas around 4 A.M. after picking up her mother and headed for Garland, Texas in sleet, snow and ice. After hours of going through the things you sometimes have to go through when you are having a baby, Mandi Shaye Beck was born. We were blessed, another healthy , beautiful daughter, an understanding and helpful mother in law and another tax deduction for the year of 1976. Although it appears she didn't like being called a tax deduction or she could have been watching the Cowboy game! Happy Birthday Shady Lady!
