Born In The Forties

Well I was still crawling around in the yard the other day putting out Christmas decorations when a five year old neighbor boy came over and sat beside me. He said he wasn't there to help me work but was just there to talk and keep me company. After watching me struggle for a while as I crawled along, he put his hand on my shoulder and asked if I needed help getting up. I told him no, I was just old and had a little trouble getting around. He said, "Yeah, you were probably born in the 80's." I told him that I was actually born in the 40's. His eyes got as wide as a 40's silver dollar and as his mom walked outside he yelled, "Mom! He was born in the 40's, can you believe it!"
