Simple Needs

The words were said, the tone should have been clear, it was a simple need, yet another responsibility missed. Missed because we didn't see or hear what was right in front of us. We must see the faint visions of need and hear the soft whispers of their souls. There are times when we must look past the obvious and grasp the subtle gestures of need, for we'll never know if that quiet soul will ask again.
