Today, October 3rd, is our oldest daughter Shanon's birthday. She and Emily, our granddaughter, came down and spent the past weekend with us to celebrate. Friday we built a fire, cooked hot dogs and made S'mores, Mother nature blessed us with the beautiful gift of another fine sunset and then we sat out my the fire for hours just talking. Saturday, we drove to Lampasas and did some shopping, then drove to Brownwood and ate at the Runaway Train and finished the day off at the movies watching The Magnificent Seven. Sunday we fished a little, talked a little more, ate a little and then ate a bunch of birthday cake (Red Velvet). It was a beautiful week end, Happy Birthday Shanon!!
