Sunsets and Powdered Snuff Glasses

Another beautiful sunset at Lake Merritt, Texas. With the cool evening breeze and great sunset signaling an end to another beautiful day it's time to sit and sip a little Brandy and be thankful. The glass you see in the photo is an old powdered snuff glass which belonged to my grandparents, Mae Delle and Dan Goodwin, of Blanket, Texas. Some folks had jelly glasses for drinking glasses but Mama Mae Delle had her snuff glasses and now you know the rest of the story.
