Rain And Other Good Things

After several days of rompin' and stompin' with our youngest daughter Shaye and her family Kenneth, Cole and Abbie and as they get ready to travel back home, a nice cleansing rain falls. The rain held off this weekend until us boys had toured Willard Partin's place in Indian Gap, while the girls did some shopping in Brownwood, we met and had lunch at the Diamond R Store And Cafe in Zepher, did some fishing on the lake (Merritt) and our son in law Kenneth caught a 10.6 pound Large Mouth Bass, took Amber's Ranger off roading for miles and miles, cooked steaks and tators out on the grill and then stayed up most of the night playing board games.

Now the rain cleans the air and flushes the Caliche dust from the trees preparing our beautiful place by the lake for our oldest daughter Shanon and grand daughter Emily's visit tomorrow for the rest of the week. It just don't get much better than this! Hope it's raining where you are.
